If I could choose one effortlessly laid-back fashion icon to channel daily, it would hands down be Katie Holmes. Ever since I watched her on Dawson’s Creek in the ’90s, I’ve been mesmerized by her unique approach to style. The wax finish gives the bag a nice shine, while the creases and grains look like a truly loved piece that you might find at a vintage store. Plus, its durability is unparalleled; it withstands scratches, weather conditions and the like, which comes in handy while I commute on the subway or set off for a tropical getaway.

Because my bags need to keep up with me, I’m truly in awe of everything this tote can carry. The roomy, no-frills interior can withstand a small laptop, book, water bottle, headphones, lip balm, claw clip and lotion.
