Sheinelle Jones Is Zara Larsson’s Surprise Guest at TODAY’s Citi Concert Series

Sheinelle Jones is living her best “Lush Life.”

The TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle co-host showed off some killer dance moves alongside Zara Larsson as the singer performed live on the TODAY Plaza on May 8.

Throughout her “Midnight Sun” tour, Larsson has pulled a fan onstage to perform the song “Lush Life.” This time, she welcomed Sheinelle.

Dressed in jeans and one of Larsson’s concert T-shirts, Sheinelle immediately brought the energy and started hyping up the crowd.

When the song’s chorus began, Sheinelle joined Larsson and her dancers and absolutely nailed the choreography.

The happiness Sheinelle exuded during the performance was evident, and many Instagram users applauded her in the comments section when TODAY shared a clip of the dance.

“Love this! She is showing joy!” one wrote.

Another commented, “I am literally obsessed with witnessing @sheinelle_o happiness each day!!!!!!!”

“Sheinelle has got the moves!!! ⭐️” another wrote.

Calling a fan up on stage during “Lush Life” has become a tradition at Larsson’s concerts. Stubhub shared a video of one of the performances where the singer’s guest dancer crushed his vocals and dance moves.

This isn’t the first time Sheinelle has showed off her dance skills on TODAY.

In 2020, she took part in TODAY’s Halloween show and danced to a song from “Chicago” with Dylan Dreyer.

Three years later, Sheinelle fulfilled a dream and performed as a backup dancer for her childhood idol, Janet Jackson, during opening weekend of the singer’s “Together Again” tour.

“It was absolutely magical,” she said of the experience.

In 2025, Sheinelle channeled her inner Beyoncé as she sported a Cowboy Carter costume and busted a move to the singer’s song “Texas Hold ‘Em” during TODAY’s Halloween show.

Afterwards, Sheinelle took to Instagram to express her gratitude for the opportunity to perform a song by one of her favorite singers.

“I’m still processing my day! More ‘thank you’s’ to come, so you can meet the crew behind the scenes who made this happen and my dancers — for now though, I’ll thank you for letting us have fun every year! You guys know … this year has been brutal for me – and I hold two things at once at all times…. which makes this year’s show extra special. It was a dream! Truly,” she wrote.
