Andy Cohen Confirms Dating Rumors, Shares Relationship Details: ‘I Met the Person’

Andy Cohen has confirmed those relationship rumors. He is, indeed, taken — and in love.

The host of Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” opened up on his SiriusXM podcast, “Andy Cohen Live,” about how he has “met the person.”

“This man is kind, and strong, and smart, and he is an adult,” Cohen said on his podcast. “And he loves my children, and they love him, and I love him.”

Chatter online first began June 4 when Deux Moi, the popular celebrity gossip social media account, posted a paparazzi photo across its platforms.

Appearing on TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle June 4, pop culture expert Nessa Diab shared some details of this new summer romance, including the rumored identity behind the mystery “businessman”: Kevin Sobiesky.

“You know it’s serious, at least serious enough, to be, you know, claiming each other,” Diab said. “Fingers crossed.”

“We’re happy for him,” Jenna and Sheinelle replied in near unison.

While Cohen didn’t confirm his new boyfriend’s name during “Andy Cohen Live,” he did disclose other details about their romance, including when they met.

According to Cohen, they crossed paths at a mutual friend’s July 4 party last year.

Cohen said he dragged himself to because he never gets invited to “gay parties at the Hamptons anymore.” Then, he met someone with whom he immediately connected.

“We talked all night: I very methodically put my number in his phone,” Cohen said. “Apparently, I said to him twice that night, ‘I want to make sure this number is right … and then he said, ‘Wow, I knew you were serious when you were really, like, serious about this number.’”

Cohen also shared how he introduced his new boyfriend to his children, Benjamin Allen and Lucy Eve.

“We have been so slow and deliberate and methodical about getting to know each other, and introducing him to the kids, and just entering him into the equation of my family so slowly,” Cohen said. “It has been so easy. One year later, I still can’t believe I found him.”

Cohen has a message for audiences itching to know more about the new couple.

“Thank you for giving me space here, not that you had a choice,” Cohen said. “I just wanted to be smart and slow before saying anything about this.”
