Bad Bunny Details Super Bowl Halftime Show in Apple Music Interview

Bad Bunny doesn’t want to give any spoilers to his upcoming Super Bowl halftime show performance this Sunday, but he is adamant that it will be a good time.

Speaking at the Apple Music Super Bowl LX halftime show press conference on Thursday, the Latin star said, “I want to bring to the stage, of course, a lot of my culture, but I don’t want to give any spoilers,” he said, adding, “It’s gonna be fun and it’s going to be a party.” He went on to explain, “People only have to worry about dance … I think there’s no better dance than the one that come from the heart.”

Bad Bunny even insisted it was more important that fans watching on Sunday tap into their dancing lessons, rather than learn Spanish. When he was announced as the headliner last fall, the star teased his fans during his Saturday Night Live monologue, telling them they had four months to learn Spanish before his performance at the Super Bowl. “It’s better if they learn to dance,” Bad Bunny told Apple Music’s Ebro Darden and Zane Lowe.

Throughout the press conference, Bad Bunny emphasized how grateful he is to get the opportunity to bring his historic album Debi Tirar Mas Fotos to the national stage. “I wasn’t looking for anything of this. I wasn’t looking for for the Album of the Year at the Grammys, also at the Latin Grammys. I wasn’t looking to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show,” Bad Bunny said. “I was looking to connect with my roots, connect with my people more than ever, connect with myself, with my history, with my culture, and I did in a very honest way,” he added.

Bad Bunny will make history with the first Spanish-language halftime show performance. His moment on the national stage comes after a momentous win at the 2026 Grammys. On Sunday, the Latin star took home the Grammy for Album of the Year, becoming the first artist to win the big prize for a non-English language album.

Bad Bunny stayed mum on details of his performance, especially when it comes to whether or not he will have any surprise guests join him. “You know, that’s something that I’m not gonna tell you,” he said. Benito continued with a cheeky response, “Of course, I have a lot of guests. It’s gonna be my family, my friends, or all the Latino community around the world that support me,” he said. “There’s a lot of people that love me around the world, not even just the Latinos. You just said that I’m Number One in China, right?”
