With wedding season officially in full swing, many people are on the hunt for a dress that can keep us comfortable whilst also ensuring we look impeccable for any upcoming nuptials of friends or family. And while a good quality dress that’ll remain intact for years to come usually comes with a hefty price tag, we’ve found a deal on a dress from Marks and Spencer that sees shoppers snapping it up for under £12.
The Jersey V-Neck Lace Panel Midaxi Column Dress from M&S usually costs £55 but it’s currently on sale for £27.50 as part of the high street brand’s current summer reductions. But shoppers can get even more off with the help of UK cashback platform TopCashback.
Users who sign up as a brand new member here will be eligible to receive TopCashback’s £15 registration bonus on their first purchase via the website over this amount. Alongside the bonus, they’ll also receive cashback within seven working days following the purchase.

This essentially drops the price of the dress from £27.50 to £11.81. It’s important to note that this price is for new customers to both Marks and Spencer as well as new members of TopCashback. Although existing M&S fans will still benefit from the bonus and cashback, the dress will, after all the deductions, drop to £12.27. This is based on orders online and collecting with Click + Collect. Standard delivery is £3.99.
The Jersey V-Neck Lace Panel Midaxi Column Dress from M&S comes in sizes six to 24 and in a gorgeous chocolate brown hue (although sizes 16 to 24 are currently out of stock online). The dress has a maxi length that has a romantic swish to it, thanks to its fit-and-flare style skirt. It’s cut to a V-neckline that is emphasised by an exaggerated lace feature that travels to the navel and is echoed on its back.
The dress also has delicate lace tulip-shaped sleeves that neatly contrast the smooth jersey fabric that ‘hangs well’ and is ‘so comfortable’. For something a little more casual – for those days where you just want to slip on something easy and effortless – Uniqlo’s Ultra Stretch AIRism Dress (Sleeveless) comes in a range of colours, including brown, and has a midi shift-style. Costing £24.90, it has a crew neckline for those who prefer this shape.
For those who love the shape of the dress but want something a little more colourful, Roman’s Pink Floral Ruched Waist Midi Dress has similar cap sleeves and a v-neckline but comes with a ruched waist to cinch in the figure and has a pink floral pattern that is certainly eye-catching.
That said, Marks and Spencer’s Jersey V-Neck Lace Panel Midaxi Column Dress has already accrued a 4.8 star rating from shoppers who love its style and fit, with one fashion fan stating: “Beautiful dress, very stylish, great fit like a glove as they say. It’s for a wedding in July.”

Someone else remarked: “Very flattering. Beautifully cut and hangs well.so comfortable. I am absolutely delighted with this item and all for a fantastic, great price.” Their only gripe? “Wish it came in other colours.”
Another M&S shopper added: “This dress looks so lovely on, it’s a lovely shape and very flattering even on a larger figure. Would definitely recommend.”
While most people found the jersey dress “so pretty”, with one shopper citing: “It makes a nice change to have something in chocolate brown”, they shared one drawback that some may experience: “Because the material is jersey it clings tonyou. Against my better judgement I didn’t keep it much as I would have loved to.”
Although for the most part, the dress has been hailed as ‘beautiful’ and ‘flattering’.
