Cardi B Reacts After Vegas Concert Fall, Jokingly Blames ‘The Government’

Cardi B expertly handled a brief mishap during her Little Miss Drama concert.

Cardi, 33, performed in Las Vegas on Friday, February 13, where eagle-eyed fans noticed her fall off a chair during a rendition of “Thotiana.” The rap star, however, didn’t miss a beat and continued singing while lying on the ground before eventually pulling herself back up.

“Y’all the government was out to get me today,” Cardi quipped in a Friday video shared via her Instagram Stories after the show ended. “I’m telling you, [it was] the government. It was the government, bitch!”

Cardi further picked herself back up for the post-concert afterparty — before doing the entire routine again for the next Little Miss Drama show.

“So, I’m about to try that Twitter concoction right now. I’m gonna take some ashwagandha, magnesium and melatonin,” Cardi said in a video on her Instagram Stories early Saturday, February 14. “Baby, I cannot wait. I want to sleep so f***ing good, bitch, woah. I am just so tired.”

Cardi further revealed that she was struggling to “get the hang of the bus.”

“Like, the whole shaking and everything?” she said. “I’m very sensitive. … I’m out here working for you motherf***ers.”

Cardi hit the road nearly four months after she gave birth to baby No. 4. (Cardi shares three children with Offset, in addition to a baby boy with Stefon Diggs.)

“I told y’all imma be getting ready for tour! Anytime! ANY PLACE,” she wrote via Instagram in December 2025, showing off her pre-tour treadmill workout. “I told y’all after I give birth, I’m getting ready for the Little Miss Drama tour — and it’s two months away.”

She continued, “Everyone always asks me, ‘Cardi, how did you lose all the weight after the baby? What did you do? You look great.’ I’ll tell you how I did it: Stress! It is Christmas, it is Kwanzaa, it is Hanukkah [and] get your tickets now because in January don’t be hitting me up, like, ‘Cardi, there’s no tickets left.’”

Cardi previously revealed that she was entering “a new season” after becoming a mom for the fourth time.

“My life has always been a combination of different chapters and different seasons. My last chapter was the beginning of a new season,” she wrote via Instagram in November 2025, confirming that she welcomed her first child with Diggs, 32. “Starting over is never easy but it’s been so worth it! I brought new music and a new album to the world! A new baby into my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me, one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else so I can continue giving my babies the love and life they deserve.”

She added at the time, “This next chapter is Me vs. Me! It’s me against all odds, me against everything meant to get in my way. I’ve started prepping for tour, getting my body right, getting my mind right. There’s nothing that’s gonna stop me from giving you guys the performance of a lifetime! I’ve learned, I’ve healed, and I’m loving the woman I’ve become!”
