Debenhams £16 makeup storage is ‘too good a deal to miss’

Christmas is fast approaching, and for some of us, it might be a last-minute scramble to get gifts in time for the big day. Lots of retailers are approaching their cut-off date for deliveries, but at Debenhams, there is still time to order in time for Christmas with their express delivery service, and they have some great gifts and stocking fillers that won’t break the bank – especially if you’re shopping for a beauty and makeup lover.

Now, Debenhams claims the makeup storage box was originally £69.99 on their website; however, when we checked the price comparison website Price Tracker, they show that the highest the storage box cost on Debenhams was £35 back in February.

Still, considering the original price of £38.16 on the Neo website, the current £15.99 price tag is a decent saving.

And, purchased promptly, customers can receive the makeup storage box before Christmas, allowing plenty of time to wrap it as a present for a loved one. Standard delivery typically takes three to five working days and costs £2.99. However, free ‘Express Delivery’ is currently available on orders over £25, reports the Daily Record, so it’s great if you have a few extra items to buy. If not, express delivery is available for £5.99 per order.

The Cosmetic Makeup Storage Organiser Display Box is available in a few different colours, though several of them have already sold out. The £15.99 deal specifically applies to the white.

Debenhams claims that the product is waterproof and dust-resistant. The clear storage section allows users to view their neatly organised products, while the drawers provide plenty of space. Now, some reviews do state that it is “flimsy”, and given the under £20 price tag, this certainly isn’t a high-end makeup storage case. But it is great if you’re on a budget or looking for someone who is just starting off their skincare or beauty collection.

It is the kind of present that suits any age, with many shoppers saying they have bought it for their daughters and granddaughters. “Compact storage for makeup, good amount of space. Granddaughter loves it,” said one review.

However, one shopper said: “The plastic is cheap and weak.” And another added: “It’s a bit more plastic-looking than I’d expected.”
