If you got a lot of makeup and skincare in your Christmas stocking, your dressing table and bathroom cabinets might be looking a little crowded right now. If this is you, we’ve spotted a practical storage solution from Debenhams that’s under £16.
Debenhams claims this large capacity cosmetics organiser was originally sold at £69.99. However, the website shows it has now been slashed to just £15.80, saving shoppers an impressive £54.19, reports the Mirror. We have spotted it elsewhere online for roughly the same price, but with that said, it’s still a great price if you’re looking for a cheap option.
The handy organiser has a large cabinet, two drawers and several side compartments, making it ideal for storing bottles, brushes and pots. The top compartment is big enough to house taller bottles, while the drawers are spacious and can fit everything from skincare and makeup to accessories and hairbrushes. The side compartments are also great, as they’re organised into smaller boxes that are perfect for storing lipsticks, mascaras, and eyeliners.
The container comes in a clear plastic and smoky acrylic with gold detailing, which, according to Debenhams, is scratch-resistant. The lid also fully closes to keep everything inside dust-free. It also has little legs, allowing it to stand on any surface, from dressing tables to bathroom floors.
The organiser is 34cm tall, with a width of 28cm and a depth of 20cm, and could become a permanent fixture on a dressing table. However, its design also allows it to be stowed away in a cupboard or even a corner of the bathroom. Everything will be protected by the cover, so you don’t need to worry about dust or moisture getting in.
Shoppers are praising the cosmetics organiser online, with one saying: “Absolutely amazing product. Love it. Keeps my make-up all organised and neat.”
Another said: “Bought this organiser for my partner for Christmas and she loved it and our dressing table is clear.”
Others commented on how it helped them cut down on cleaning, with one saying: “Superb makeup box, keeps dust off all my cosmetics.”
“Brilliant”, another review said, adding: “My make-up and perfumes have never been so organised! Only the top to dust, not every bottle of perfume.”
However, some shoppers were not happy with the side drawers, with one saying they “don’t hold a lot” and another said: “You can’t fit many lipsticks in because it’s too small, it makes them difficult to get your fingers in to retrieve the ones at the back.”
