Debenhams rolls out rare sale on Clarins ‘youthful’ and ‘dewy’ serum

Clarins’ Double Serum is a cult favourite in the beauty industry, known for its hydrating and nourishing properties. However, the product comes with a premium price tag and is seldom reduced. 

However, Debenhams has reduced the price of the Double Serum, making it more affordable for die-hard fans or for those keen on giving it a go. The department store has all three sizes on sale (30ml, 50ml, and 75ml), with prices ranging from £52 – £94.40, instead of £65 – £118. 

The unique dual formula contains 95% naturally-sourced ingredients and combines 22 powerful plant extracts, including turmeric extract. It promises to target age-related concerns, including wrinkles, firmness, radiance, and pore visibility. 

Alternatively, Boots’ No7 Future Renew is also a popular and well-regarded line, with products offered at a more affordable price. The Night Serum (£44.95) targets signs of sun damage, as well as fine lines, wrinkles, and hydration.

Elsewhere, Medik8 has up to 40% off selected products in its winter sale. This Supercharged Eye Vitamin A Serum is now £14.40, down from £24, and claims to work effectively in improving the appearance of skin texture and minimising the look of fine lines around the eyes.

Nevertheless, Clarins’ Double Serum is a strong contender with more than 7,780 customer reviews on the Debenhams website. One customer described it as ‘very effective’, adding: “I use the light one in the summer and the normal one in the winter, and this works for me. Certainly helps to keep the wrinkles at bay!”

Another pleased buyer said: “I love this more than my Med Spa serum that was twice the price. I am 36, and my skin looks younger and dewy within a week!”

Another shopper didn’t like the scent, writing: “So far I like it, a great product for cold, dry winter weather, gives a healthy look after applying. Not crazy about the fragrance though, it seems a bit dated/vintage like, from the 40s-50s.”
