If you can believe it, the year is almost over. But we have plenty to look forward to ahead of next year’s Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2026.
Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, the new broadcast features an exciting expansion to the show for the first time in its 50-year run. And while other channels air their own variation on a New Year’s Eve special, the New Year’s Rockin’ Eve is where it’s at.
Watch With Us is already excited, as the show is sure to be packed with fantastic performances and colorful commentary.
We break down what we currently know about the 2026 installment.
Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2026 will air on Wednesday, December 31, starting at 5 p.m. PST / 7 p.m. CST/ 8 p.m. EST.
Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2026 airs live on ABC and culminates with the famous ball dropping at midnight. You can watch via your local over-the-air ABC channel through an HD antenna or your cable provider.
While you can’t stream Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve until the replay hits streaming the following day on Hulu, there are several live streaming options available. In addition to the plan offered by Hulu + Live TV, you can also try Sling TV, fuboTV and YouTube TV — the latter of which will likely be through with its ongoing contract dispute with Disney by then.
For no cost, you can try a free trial with fuboTV, and if you decide to stick with it, the streamer offers many additional channels that are well worth the subscription price.
Sling TV offers a great subscription bundle for the low cost of $46 per month, which is a very competitive price compared to other subscription plans. You can also upgrade to Sling Orange for only $4.99 to access more Disney-owned channels.
There are multiple hosts this year. Ryan Seacrest will share hosting duties with Rita Ora from Times Square in New York City. In Las Vegas, former New England Patriots football player Rob Gronkowski and Dancing with the Stars alum Julianne Hough will oversee Sin City’s festivities. Chance the Rapper will host from Chicago, while Roselyn Sánchez will host from Puerto Rico.
Over 40 performers are scheduled to perform on New Year’s Eve, with Motown legend Diana Ross set to headline the Times Square party. Below is a list of all the singers and bands separated by location:
New York City:
West Coast:
Puerto Rico:
Chicago:
Additional performances include Chappell Roan from Kansas City and Post Malone from Nashville.
This year, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2026 is expanding its time zones beyond strictly the Eastern, Western and Atlantic. For the first time in the entirety of the special’s history, New Year’s Rockin’ Eve will be offering a Central timezone for a midnight countdown taking place in Chicago.
The Chicago countdown will join the Times Square countdown in New York City and the West Coast Party that’s held in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, in addition to the Spanish-language countdown in Puerto Rico.
