For the first time in the entirety of the special’s history, New Year’s Rockin’ Eve will be offering a Central timezone for a midnight countdown taking place in Chicago.

The Chicago countdown will join the Times Square countdown in New York City and the West Coast Party that’s held in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, in addition to the Spanish-language countdown in Puerto Rico.
