Dodgers receive World Series Championship rings in ceremony ahead of Friday night game

The Dodgers received their 2025 World Series rings in a pregame ceremony Friday night at Dodger Stadium.

The ring ceremony is part of the Boys in Blue’s back-to-back World Series Championship victory lap, celebrating being on top for another year.

On Thursday night, they raised the championship banner at Dodger Stadium, and now, they have their 2025 World Series Championship rings.

The rings, which feature hundreds of diamonds, say “back 2 back” on the side with engravings of the 2024 and 2025 championship trophies.

The Dodgers started off the new season with an 8-2 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks.

While fans are already screaming “three-peat,” they are also still savoring the World Series title from last year, when the Dodgers triumphed over the Toronto Blue Jays in a Game 7 nail-biter.

Fans say they weren’t just excited to see them get their rings, they’re proud.

“We were with them the whole way. We have season tickets, so we are here a lot of the games, and we’re fighting with them every single game. The best we can from the stands,” said Dodger fan, Kim Trainor.

“I’m definitely going to feel pride. I mean, honestly, it brings tears to my eyes. I mean, born and raised in Los Angeles, you’re just connected. You just feel… it’s exciting. You can’t help but get emotional,” said Elizabeth Rivas.

The ceremony was narrated by actor Anthony Anderson. Country singer and Dodger fan Brad Paisley sang the national anthem before the first pitch.

Clayton Kershaw, who retired after the 2025 season, threw the first pitch.

The Dodgers announced they are officially bringing Kershaw on as a special assistant.

Speaking Friday ahead of the Dodgers’ ring ceremony, Kershaw described the role as fluid, though it won’t involve coaching.

“I’ll be involved somehow,” he said. “Probably not physically here in L.A., but definitely, I’m sure I’ll watch games. I still want to be a part of the Dodgers, so if I can help in some small piece, I will.”
