Gerry Turner Reacts to Faith Martin Going IG Official With New Man

Former Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner was nothing but supportive of ex Faith Martin’s new relationship.

“So happy for you!! Enjoy every minute like it’s your last,” Turner, 74, wrote in the comments section of her Instagram post on Tuesday, December 23.

Martin, 63, went Instagram official with her new man on Monday, December 22, sharing a series of selfies of the twosome — including one where he planted a kiss on her forehead as she smiled for the camera.

“To all the women who think they can’t bear the loneliness of being by themselves and end up settling with a partner that’s not quite their RIGHT person…” she captioned the upload. “I’m here to tell you it’s worth the wait to hold out for the one who is EVERYTHING to You! ❤️.”

Other Bachelor Nation alums gushed over Martin’s new love in the comments section.

“Omg!! Im so over the moon happy for you!!!❤️❤️❤️,” Leslie Fhima wrote, while Theresa Nist added, “I cannot even begin to tell you how incredibly happy I am for you, Faith!!! You look so happy and so beautiful together!! How absolutely wonderful! 💕💕💕💕.”

Kim Buike, whom Martin sparked a romance with on Bachelor in Paradise season 10, added,
“This is absolutely wonderful news and I’m so very, very happy for you both! 🥰.”

Bachelor Nation met Martin when she appeared on The Golden Bachelor season 1 and vied for the affections of Turner. He ultimately sent her packing ahead of the finale, where he split from Fhima, 66, and popped the question to Nist, 72. Turner and Nist went on to tie the knot in 2024, divorcing months later.

In Turner’s memoir, Golden Years: What I’ve Learned from Love, Loss, and Reality TV, which dropped in November, he reflected on his romance with Martin. At one point, he recalled being caught up in the moment when he said “I love you” to her.

“Was this genuine love? If that was true, I didn’t want to file it away. On the other hand, if this was simply a visceral reaction to the warmth of Faith’s obviously loving family and the momentum of the show, I needed to figure that out — and quick. I was so confused,” he wrote. “The only thing I knew for sure was that I wanted ice cream. I love Dairy Queen … sadly, even my favorite Blizzard did nothing to help me sort out my bewilderment.”

Turner has since found love with Lana Sutton, whom he announced his engagement to in October. In Turner’s mind, taking the next step with Sutton is not “too soon” after his divorce from Nist.

“The comment of it being too soon has never come to me. You know, that question has not been asked,” he said during an episode of the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast in October. “There are some things that are timeless. And I think one of them is when you meet the right person, you don’t even think about where it fits on the timeline. It’s just when it’s right, it’s right.”
