Hilary Swank Celebrates Holiday Season With Rare Photo of Her Twins

Hilary Swank‘s holiday season was full of magic thanks to her two little ones.

“Hope you all had the opportunity to slow down and embrace the big and little magical moments of the Holidays,” Swank, 51, captioned an Instagram post on Monday, December 29. “Wishing you a joyful, healthy and abundant 2026 from my family to yours.”

The actress posted a picture of her 2-year-old twins — Aya and Ohm — wearing matching red and green plaid outfits while standing in front of their Christmas tree.

The Million Dollar Baby actress doesn’t share many details about her son and daughter, only posting one photo of her kids annually to celebrate the holidays.

In 2024, Swank shared a similar photo with one of her kids. The actress was smiling while standing in front of her Christmas tree and holding her baby boy’s hand.

“Happy Holidays to you all. So grateful for this community. Wishing everyone a restful and restorative time, as best as possible anyway, as we all navigate all we juggle,” she captioned the image last year. “Feeling so connected to all the caregivers out there who keep so many balls in the air and have little time for themselves.”

 

Swank concluded, “As well as anyone navigating loss in any way. Grieving is hard work, especially this time of year. Massive love to you all.”

Swank and her husband, Philip Schneider, welcomed their fraternal twins in April 2023.

“Hilary is literally on cloud nine right now, and she couldn’t be happier now that her babies are finally here,” a source told Us Weekly exclusively after Swank gave birth.

According to the insider, Swank felt like “she hit the jackpot with having a boy and a girl.”

Swank, who married Schneider in 2018, fell “even more in love” with her husband after becoming a mom, the same insider explained. (Swank met Schneider through mutual friends and dated him for two years before tying the knot. She was previously in relationships with Chad Lowe, John Campisi and Ruben Torres.)

“Philip has been an incredible support system and Hilary loves seeing him with the babies,” the source continued. “She can’t wait to start this next chapter with her family. She feels beyond blessed to have gotten everything she ever wanted.”

 

Swank announced her pregnancy during an October 2022 appearance on Good Morning America.

“This is something that I’ve been wanting for a long time, and my next thing is I’m gonna be a mom,” she shared at the time. “And not just of one, but of two. I can’t believe it. It’s so nice to be able to talk about it and share it.”

Swank was 48 when she welcomed her twins, but the actress had been preparing for motherhood her whole life.

“I definitely would like kids someday. That’s definitely something that I’ve always thought about as a very, very young girl,” she shared in a 2006 interview. “I just love kids and that would be an important thing to happen for me someday whenever the time is right.”
