The 2026 American Music Awards will air live on May 25 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on CBS and Paramount+.

Cable-cutters can also stream the ceremony live on DirecTV and Hulu + Live TV via your local CBS channel. Plus, these live TV streamers are both currently offering free trials, making them the best way to stream the AMAs live online at no cost.

Some of this year’s nominees at the world’s largest fan-voted music awards show include Taylor Swift, who leads the pack with eight nominations, while Sabrina Carpenter, Morgan Wallen, Olivia Dean, and Sombr each received seven nominations apiece.  Nominations are determined by a combination of sales, streaming, airplay and touring data points from Billboard and Luminate.

The American Music Awards can be streamed live and online via CBS or a Paramount+ Premium account. Paramount+ essential subscribers will not be able to stream the show live, but will have access to it on demand the next day in the U.S.

Queen Latifah is hosting this year’s ceremony, where Billy Idol will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award and Karol G will be honored with the International Artist Award of Excellence.

Idol and Karol G are also set to perform during the awards ceremony, joined by Darius Rucker and his Hootie & the Blowfish bandmates, Katseye, Keith Urban, Maluma, New Kids on the Block, The Pussycat Dolls + Busta Rhymes, Riley Green, Sombr, Teddy Swims, Teyana Taylor, and Twenty One Pilots.

Presenters include Alysa Liu, Anthony Ramos, Ejae, Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, Hannah Berner, Hilary Duff, Jason Derulo, John Legend, Lisa Rinna, Ludacris, Mariah the Scientist, Matt Rife, Megan Stalter and Paul W. Downs, Melanie Martinez, Nikki Glaser, Paula Abdul, Rei Ami and Russell Dickerson.

The award ceremony will air live from Las Vegas and honor the nation’s troops for Memorial Day. The show is produced by Dick Clark Productions. Clark created the award show in 1974.
