Jason Kelce Teases Going Shirtless at Taylor and Travis Kelce Wedding

Jason Kelce is a big fan of taking his shirt off at high-profile functions — and one of those events could be Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s upcoming wedding.

“Listen, the first time I met Taylor was at a Buffalo Bills game. I jumped out of a suite. She invites us back to things now!” Jason, 38, said in an interview with the Wall Street Journal published on Monday, December 22. “We’ll see if the shirt stays on or off.”

If Jason does indeed strip down at his brother’s wedding, the retired Eagles center teased that his wife, Kylie Kelce, won’t be jazzed.

“I think if my shirt comes off, Kylie will be very upset about that,” he quipped.

Shirt or no shirt, Jason added that he’s happy to welcome Swift, 36, into the Kelce family.

“I just enjoy her being my brother’s soon-to-be wife, and aunt to my kids, and we try to leave that relationship where it should be, there,” he said.

According to Jason, Travis, 36, and Swift’s wedding wouldn’t be the first time he’s opted for an outrageous look during a ceremony.

“I’ve evolved quite greatly since getting married myself. Early on, I went to a wedding with just a Target graphic T-shirt,” he explained. “I’ve taken my shirts off at weddings.”

After sharing that the instance has occurred more than once, Jason revealed that he’s been a rowdy guest in the past.

“I’ve broken things. I dropped one of my buddy’s bridesmaids on her head,” he recalled. “It’s gone south at a couple weddings. But somehow I keep getting invited back to peoples’ weddings. I’m a good time, usually.”

Jason noted that since he married Kylie, 33, he’s become “much more tame” at events. (Jason and Kylie tied the knot in 2018 and have since welcomed four daughters: Wyatt, 5, Ellie, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finn, 9 months.)

Earlier this year, Travis proposed to Swift after two years of dating.

“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨,” the couple wrote via a joint Instagram post in August alongside a series of photos from the proposal.

After getting engaged, Swift dropped her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl. While promoting the record during an October appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Swift shared some details about her wedding planning process.

“I’m just doing the album thing now, which is a big thing. Then, I think the wedding is what happens after that in the scheme of the planning, but I’m so excited about it,” she said at the time. “I know it’s gonna be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount and people are on the bubble.”

Swift added that she wasn’t interested in having a small celebration because she did not want to “evaluate or assess [her] relationship” with every potential guest.

Earlier this month, Jason confessed that he has not received any additional details from his brother about giving a potential best man speech.

“Time will tell if there is one or anything like that,” Jason said during a December appearance on Good Morning America. “I’ve been given no details on that front, but however I’m involved, I’ll be happy to be. I’m just happy for those two.”
