Jason Momoa, who has an extraordinary connection with music, is making his way to the Middle East. The actor, and a man of many talents, along with his band Da Öof, have a scheduled live performance for the first day of Dubai in January 2026. The event is a part of the Meili Society Nights series, which is sponsored by Meili Vodka, and guarantees an evening filled with sound and positive energy.

The concert will be really loud, and of course, Jason Momoa will surely be the one to provide that. The ‘Aquaman’ star is blending his remarkable personality with his music project, Da Öof, and he is giving that same energy to it. He shook his fans with a declaration by saying that the band would perform for the first time in Dubai on January 28, 2026. The place for the event that goes by the name of Meili Society Nights will be The Agenda, and the early bird tickets are already on sale. Momoa’s announcement was nothing less than pure, uncut enthusiasm: ‘OY DUBAI — YOU READY?! DA ÖOF IS COMIN’ IN HOT.’ He promised a loud, unfiltered experience marking the great expansion of his music projects beyond the U.S.

The news brought an instant storm of engagement and drew global attention to Momoa’s mesmerizing character. His fans from various parts of the world started to request more locations to be added to the tour besides the announced ones. A Japanese fan commented, ‘Please do a live performance in Japan too,’ and soon others from Denmark and Turkey also expressed their support. This type of demand not only indicates that Momoa is a global star, but also that he attracts different kinds of people—from those who admire him for his acting skills to those appreciating a rock star’s lifestyle.

One of the comments that received the most cheer was a very enthusiastic one. To illustrate with a Portuguese-speaking fan, he/she made a big all-caps, high-praise comment saying, ‘My love Da Öof is conquering the world, it has had a meteoric rise, it’s a hurricane that draws crowds wherever it goes… My heart will go with you wherever you go.’ The message which is a translation from Portuguese reflects the strong loyalty that Momoa generates through the admiration of his music and personal love.

Of course, the vast majority of the reactions were not happy ones. Some harsh remarks fell on the choice of Dubai as the venue. One person made a very brief and very direct comment, saying, ‘Saudi blood money – yay!’ This was probably a critique referring to the bigger political problems in the region and how there could be negative views on entertainment events held there. Another comment, although a little harsh, still was more focused on the business side of the operation. The user asserted: ‘Cover band with a good and hot member who is not a good bass player, however, the attention he draws helps the other two earn money.’ This criticism relates to a never-ending debate about the artistic worth of the output of musicians who are famous for reasons other than their music, i.e. should they be rated as serious or just as a celebrity passion project?

Pragmatic problems also got into the conversation. One person who was contemplating going to the concert set forth a complaint, stating, ‘The link doesn’t work for buying tickets!’ Another person hoped that the concert would not take place over the same weekend: ‘Noooooo! This is the weekend I’ll be in the UK.’ These conversations remind us that there are real-life logistics difficulties that fans have to deal with, ranging from ticket problems to scheduling conflicts.

Even though audience reactions were diverse, still the louder voice was that of thrill and anticipation. Comments like ‘That’s gonna be so Fire!’ and ‘Rock the place Jason you’re a Rock God’ populated the thread. Momoa, even in a playful way, responded to a fan who said, ‘Wow I wanna come…come get me baby,’ by saying, ‘I will baby girl.’ This short but straight interaction gives a personal touch and thus deepens his community.

With Da Öof, Jason Momoa has stepped into the international live performance scene and that has marked a new era. It unites his well-known traits of being edgy, artistic, and enthusiastic, and the global stage that his fame provides, and it also cuts across everybody’s expectation—the announcement to the world can be seen either way, depending on one’s perspective, as a serious musical venture or just a celebrity hobby. Nonetheless, it has incited cross-continental conversation and demand. The stage in Dubai is ready for a night that is promised to be as great and noisy as Momoa himself. Fans can also look forward to his upcoming Chief of War episode, and he recently made headlines for his call for global resilience at the UN Environment Assembly.
