Jenna Dewan Celebrates Magical Disney Thanksgiving With Her Blended Family

Jenna Dewan that she is accustomed to portraying a fabulous modern-day when the actress opened the doors to her Thanksgiving celebration at Disneyland and filled it with joy. The entire family met at the famous amusement park, where each kid and adult communicated through smiles and expressed how happy they were to be doing this together even if they were not sharing the same place. They all talked about Thanksgiving as a time of coming together no matter the distance and of creating experiences that carry the value of bond.

Jenna Dewan’s ability to transform moments into something enchanting is nothing short of a superpower. The ex-dancer who is known for playing the lead in the hit film Step Up and is now married to a professional dancer just made everyone who was thinking about visiting the family at Christmas very jealous. Dewan gathered her extended family which consists of her two children from the marriage with Channing Tatum, a baby born to her and Steve Kazee, and a kid from a previous relationship of Kazee’s. They were all called to her ‘very Disney Thanksgiving’—a family reunion at the happiest place on Earth.
Dewan’s Instagram post read, ‘Although we are far apart, being able to have a family gathering with kids is great and at the same time celebrating Thanksgiving at the most magical place on Earth, these are the things that core memories are made of.’ Her followers probably expressed the same sentiments because of their sympathy toward the actress who was living the co-parenting and new relationships roller-coaster ride. Jenna’s current family portrait includes Tatum’s 6 years old daughter Everly, Kazee’s 2 years old son Callum, and his son (with a different mother) from Kazee’s previous relationship, which made this a really modern family event at Disneyland.
Everyone seemed to love and appreciate the mood of the occasion in the comments to Jenna’s post about Christmas, thanking her for sharing this aspect of her enlarged family. One of the passersby expressed, ‘Such a beautiful family,’ which was a very broad and general opinion. Another one stated, ‘Love the table decor..glad you enjoyed the moment,’ directed to the Thanksgiving which had Disney’s classic care and attention to detail.
Most of the comments were focused on the kids especially Everly and how she is the spitting image of her very famous father. One user said, ‘your daughter is her dads mini!!!’ with another simply stating, Evie is so beautiful, the little one using the family’s affectionate name for her. The remarkable similarity between Everly and Channing Tatum has been a hot topic of discussion among viewers of Dewan’s posts for years, but this was perhaps the longest and the first big holiday gathering she shared with her new family member since inviting Kazee to their family.
This post also got some funny replies; one user was the funniest giving the impression that they ‘died from a heart attack [because got] jumpscared after seeing Jason’s face and then realizing y’all are married.’ They might have mistaken Kazee for another actor and recognized him only as being Dewan’s partner after the confusion. The couple got engaged in 2020 and welcomed their son Callum at the end of that same year, but they have largely lived a private life compared to Dewan’s previous marriage to Tatum which was extremely public and during which their split was the talk of the town.
Dewan’s Thanksgiving at Disneyland was inner-directed by the transition occurring in the family-tradition associated domains of going to neutral winsome places where blended families create new traditions. Disney has long since renamed itself the ultimate family vacation destination, with the ‘most magical place on Earth’ still serving as a reset button for families wanting to freshen up their Christmas traditions that come with baggage from the past—this is the place where everyone can come without the baggage that comes with past holiday customs.
Dewan’s parenting strategy seems particularly enlightened and focused on the kids’ welfare. Over the years, she has repeatedly asserted the need to prioritize the children and ensure cordial relationships with all the adults in their lives. The Disney gathering appears to be another instance of the idea being put into practice, creating happy memories that surpass the intricate logistics of modern family life.
The timing also raises interesting questions, especially in light of Dewan’s recent professional commitments, among them, hosting Fox’s The Real Dirty Dancing and her involvement in producing various projects. Managing a demanding career while simultaneously catering to the needs of several children from a blended family is eye-opening—thus making the Thanksgiving celebration at Disney even more amazing.
Some people made comments, most of them jokes, about the practical side of such an extravagant holiday celebration. ‘Thanksgiving will be much more joyful if there is a private chef for everyone involved,’ joked one user, but it remains uncertain whether the family utilized Disney’s dining services or had private catering for their celebration. The resort does have many options for Thanksgiving meals prepared in delicious

Jenna Dewan recently shared a magical surprise performance from her husband. She has also been open about her postpartum hair recovery journey. The family’s Disney outing brings to mind the joy sparked by content like Disney’s Freakier Friday on Disney Plus. This celebration stands in contrast to the nostalgic post where she reluctantly bid farewell to summer.
