Laz Alonso and the rest of ‘The Boys’ cast and crew made sure to dramatize their emotions by a rapturous reception at CCXP in São Paulo, Brazil. Stepping forward, the actor told an amazing story of the thousands of fans of the series who were giving the signature salute and welcoming him with open arms. He particularly emphasized the almost unbelievable scenario of about 6,000 supporters cheering and receiving them with a great wave of extended middle fingers. For those who don’t know it, this is the show’s signature salute, a defiant symbol that is very much a part of its central theme ‘Fck Supes.’ Alonso admitted that he had the honor of receiving that particular type of welcome and it was never better than this time.
