LookFantastic beauty bag saves £74 on travel beauty products

Beauty boxes seem to be everywhere at the moment. From Marks and Spencer to Boots and Next, it feels like there’s always a new seasonal bag or cosmetic pouch launching, each one packed with skincare and makeup promising serious bang for your buck. But as a shopping editor, I always find myself gravitating back to LookFantastic. It’s one of my go-to spots for beauty bags and, honestly, one of the best places to snap up high-end products without the high-end price tag. With summer holidays fast approaching, they’ve just dropped a brand new beauty bag that’s basically made for your next getaway.

The aptly named Travel Minis Edit is packed with 14 travel-sized treats that slot neatly into your suitcase or your hand luggage. Every single item meets airline liquid restrictions, so if you’re flying through an airport that still enforces them, you can breeze through security without ditching your skincare essentials. Even better, these minis are the perfect size to save space and won’t tip the scales in your suitcase.

There’s something for every step of your routine tucked inside, from glow-boosting skincare and SPF to leg-softening heroes and products that add a subtle shimmer before an evening out. Hair hasn’t been overlooked either, with both shampoo and conditioner included. Every item comes from brands that are seriously trending right now and hugely popular online.

Everything arrives neatly packed inside a handy toiletry case, so you can quite literally toss it into your suitcase and go, no faffing required.

But let’s talk value, because this is what really stands out. The bundle retails for £35, which already feels like a win, especially when you consider that the priciest product inside, the Aveda botanical repair hair leave-in treatment, is worth £18 on its own. According to LookFantastic, the full value of the contents comes in at £109 if you were to buy everything separately. That’s a saving of around 67%.

Inside, you’ll find a BEAUTYPRO Super Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Travel Face Sheet Mask, which is ideal for slipping on mid-flight when your skin is crying out for moisture. There are also Elemis Dynamic Resurfacing Pads (worth £16), designed to gently exfoliate on the go and help smooth the look of pores, dark spots and uneven texture. Alongside those, you’ve got a CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser with Hyaluronic Acid for Normal to Dry Skin, plus a Curél Hydrating Water Essence and Moisture Facial Cream. All three are formulated with sensitive skin in mind, making them easy, versatile staples.

Sun protection is, of course, non-negotiable on holiday, and this edit has that covered too. There’s a handy 15ml Ultrasun Face Anti-Ageing Lotion SPF 30 that’s perfect for slipping into your handbag and applying quick top-ups throughout the day.

And it’s not just your face that’s accounted for, as there are products to cover you from head to toe. There’s a travel-sized tub of Sol de Janeiro Beija Flor Elasti-Cream. I’m a big fan of Sol de Janeiro myself – the creams glide on effortlessly, absorb quickly without any stickiness, and leave behind a fragrance that tends to attract compliments. You’ll also find a NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Shimmering Multi-Purpose Dry Oil, perfect for sweeping over your legs and décolletage to add softness and a sun-kissed shimmer.

The set also includes a 10ml tube of Weleda Skin Food, another staple I reach for regularly. It’s brilliant for keeping hands soft while you’re out and about, and the scent is a lovely bonus. There’s also an ESPA shower gel to round things off.

And finally, let’s not forget hair care. The bag includes three essentials to keep your tresses looking fresh, soft and glossy on the move: a shampoo and conditioner from Olaplex, plus that Aveda leave-in treatment.

While I haven’t tried the bag itself, I have used plenty of the products inside—and given the value and popularity of the brands included, I’d say the £35 price tag is more than justified. If there’s one small thing missing, it’s perhaps a fragrance—but otherwise, it’s a pretty dreamy travel companion.
