Truly an absolutely remarkable day was Melanie Lynskey’s. She established herself as the Q&A moderator for the new film ‘The Plague’, whose cast included Joel Edgerton and Everett Blunck as the new leading man. She was ecstatic about the film which she called “INCREDIBLE”, and even recommended people watch it before reading any spoilers.

Indeed, the actress also lavished co-star Everett Blunck with very high compliments. She spoke about the actor’s skills among other things and noted that he is very versatile compared to his previous parts. “Everett- I love you and I am on your side forever I hope you know!!” Lynskey said, further inquiring, “Hasn’t the young actor done a fabulous job so far?” The actress was very generous with her telling us about the whole process.

The movie premiere turned into a small but significant fashion event as well. The British brand Joanie Clothing offered a dress designed by Christina Hendricks for Melanie Lynskey. The actress highlighted the dress and particularly its comfort and its most impressive feature – the large pockets. Moreover, she took a pic to show off the size of her pockets and posted it on Instagram as an invitation for people to come and check it out.

The compliments poured into the comments section shortly after. One of the users was curious about Melanie’s character and put it this way, “Your heart is as big as your talent, and you have the most beautiful things to say about everyone around you. How can it not be a blessing having people like you alive in the world and at your age?” It looked like this was the general feeling towards the generous post of the actress.

Another user who was present at the event gave a positive feedback on the moderation reviewing “You were such a great moderator!” and the rest of the comment quickly followed. They admitted that the participation of Lynskey was the main reason they chose this particular screening. “I thought you did excellent asking relevant questions and closely listening to the answers. I’ve loved you as an actress for… quite a while, and now I love you as a moderator too,” was the complimenting conclusion of the user who became a fan of Lynskey’s.

It was the dress that turned out to be the main topic of discussion. “That dress looks so beautiful on you!!!!” one of the people exclaimed while another just nodded and said “oh, it really is!” The designer herself, Christina Hendricks, stepped in and she left a message saying to Melanie “You are a total beauty!”

A comment that was particularly touching was from Melanie’s co-star, Blunck. He replied to her public recognition with a personal message, “you will always be my first screen mom and I couldn’t wish for a better one!!! thank you so much for moderating and being so unbelievably supportive always.” The two had a delightful exchange where the behind-the-scenes of the professional accolades intimacy was revealed.

The hairstylist was also mentioned in the post and comments. Marcus, who was responsible for Lynskey’s hair at the occasion, said to her “Love you Melanie! Glad we could chat” and a fan account replied “you did a wonderful job – her hair looked so gorgeous (as always).” It was a full-circle moment of appreciation for the hairstylist team.

The movie hype was really amazing among Lynskey’s followers. One of them characterized it saying “This so sounds like a super fun time. I can’t wait to see the movie. You looked stunning, as always!” Another one mentioned how he got the feeling of being connected to the actor’s work because of a stage performance he saw Edgerton in and that it was powerful. “I have watched all the films he has been in and I’m looking forward to this one the most! I bet it’s great.”

Finally, the pockets. One of the users could not help but to post just one word comment “The pockets! I love this!” sometimes the little things have the greatest impact.
