Nobody’s Child Black Friday sale slashes cardigan by 25%

Black Friday discounts are everywhere at the moment, and it’s easy to get swept up in buying things that only really work for December. There are only so many glittery dresses, novelty jumpers or loungewear that you really need. Nobody’s Child currently has 25% off everything on the site with the code BF25, including pieces you can wear long after the festive rush has died down.

One piece that caught my eye was this ribbed longline cardigan, which comes in black, brown, cream, red and green. It’s available in sizes XS to L, and what I love best is the length. You can wear it as a standard cardigan, or buttoned it up, and it transforms into a stylish and fitted top.

It’s split from the waist down, so it covers your bum but gives an interesting A-line cut. I would wear it with jeans or black faux leather trousers. Additionally, it comes in a wide range of colours, making it very versatile.

In a review, a customer wrote: “I love this cardigan, the cut and the way it falls on the body is so elegant. I like it’s not too thick and not thin either.”

Another person added: “Lovely cardigan, which is a more heavyweight piece which holds its shape and line. Perfect length and will get plenty of wear.”

However, a few people noted that the sleeves are longer, which, if you’re petite, might not fit. One shopper added: “Great cardigan, but sleeves far too long for me and had to return.”

Another piece that caught my eye is the black-and-white check frill blouse, which, to me, feels like a year-round staple. I can see this working under a cardigan in winter, with jeans on a Saturday, or tucked into a skirt for work. The oversized Peter Pan collar gives it a bit of character without being too much, and the small tie at the front adds shape without being fussy. Its RRP is £59, but with the generous discount, it comes in at £44.25.

It comes in sizes four to 18 and has a relaxed fit. The long sleeves make it a practical choice in colder weather, but the lightweight fabric (made from a poly-blend) means it won’t look out of place once spring arrives. I think Nobody’s Child often leans into that effortlessly put-together look and this sits right in that lane. It’s simple, easy to style, and will always look good.

There aren’t any reviews for this particular blouse, but according to the website, it’s selling quickly.
