Pete Davidson’s Girlfriend Elsie Hewitt Can’t Stop Crying at Daughter

Elsie Hewitt is head over heels for her and Pete Davidson’s newborn daughter.

“[T]o all the moms,” Hewitt, 29, captioned a photo of herself shared via her Instagram Stories on Saturday, December 20, “do you just sit and stare at your baby and cry at how much you love them and can’t believe it’s yours and that your body made this perfect thing and u don’t even know how to handle how in love u are so you just start crying.”

The pair welcomed their newborn on December 12, with Hewitt announcing the news via Instagram on December 18.

“Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson ♥️,” Hewitt captioned the Instagram post, revealing the baby’s name. “My best work yet, I am absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief.”

Davidson and Hewitt first sparked dating rumors in March 2025 and confirmed their relationship two months later. Hewitt announced her pregnancy via Instagram in July while sharing a series of photos and videos of herself and Davidson, 31.

“welp now everyone knows we had sex,” she captioned the upload.

“He is so incredible,” Hewitt told People of her boyfriend while on the red carpet in May. “Honestly, best person I’ve ever met, and I’m so grateful that he’s here tonight. It was just really important to both of us to come here and support the [Endometriosis Foundation of America] and keep helping, spreading the word and educating people.”

Davidson previously opened up about wanting to have children and become a father one day.

“[I’m] definitely a family guy,” he told Kevin Hart during season 2 of Peacock’s Hart to Heart. “My favorite thing ever, which I have yet to achieve, I wanna have a kid. That’s, like, my dream. It’s, like, super corny, [but] it would be so fun. Dress up the little dude. It’s just, like, I’m so excited for that chapter.”

He added, “That’s kind of what I’m just preparing for now, is just trying to be as good as a dude, develop and get better so when that happens it’s just easier.”

On Friday, December 19, source close to the couple exclusively told Us Weekly the pair may be making a move soon in the wake of their baby’s birth.

“It’s been a whirlwind week, but they are obsessed with their baby girl and over the moon,” the source said. “They welcomed her in New York. They want to raise her in upstate New York, where they have more privacy, normalcy, and it feels more suburban.”

The source continued, “They have had their hands full and are still figuring out the parenting thing day by day. Pete is ecstatic to officially be a dad and has had a smile on his face since she was born. He was emotional when she arrived.”

According to the insider, Hewitt is equally thrilled.

“Elsie has been having such a great week with baby Scottie. She’s feeling amazing and is completely in her element, already embracing motherhood in a way that feels natural to her,” the insider explained. “She truly feels she was made for motherhood. They are soaking in every moment and have so much love to give Scottie.”
