‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ Crowns Season 18 Winner

SPOILER ALERT: This contains major spoilers for the finale of “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”

All hail Myki Meeks!

The queen has been “RuPaul’s Drag Race” crowned America’s next drag superstar. Meeks snatched the crown from Darlene Mitchell and Nini Coco.

Snatching the crown from her fellow queens, Meeks said, “This is for my friends, my family, all of Orlando, live fiercely, love boldly, and write it in the books baby, the Meeks shall inherit the crown!”

In the episode, judge Michelle Visage welcomed back the season 18 queens to the main stage. DD Fuego, Mandy Mango, Briar Blush, Ciara Myst, Vita VonTesse Star, Mia Starr, Athena Dion, Kenya Pleaser, Discord Addams, Jane Don’t, and Juicy Love Dion all made one final appearance as the eliminated queens of the season.

Finalists Darlene Mitchell, Myki Meeks and Nini Coco were welcomed back for one last Ru-stravaganza. Mitchell finished in second place.

Jane Don’t was crowned this season’s Miss Congeniality. Asked what she had to say, Don’t replied, “Congeniality is not something the women in my family generally aspire to, but one of the best gifts that this whole experience has given me is my relationships with these girls.” She went on to say, “You are the best prize.”

Host RuPaul also treated audiences to a performance of her 2022 song, “Mother of the House,” and reminded everyone just who was in charge.

Meeks landed in the bottom of the Rate-a-queen challenge, but bounced back and went on to win the political advert challenge, the makeover challenge, the Improv challenge and the final hosting challenge. Meeks earned the title of comeback queen and landed in the “Drag Race” history books by winning three of those four challenges back-to-back.

During the season’s Snatch Game Challenge, Meeks did a top-notch impersonation of Drew Barrymore. Following that episode, Barrymore invited Meeks on to appear on her show. In true Meeks style, she showed up dressed as Barrymore. “There’s such an accuracy,” Barrymore told Meeks.

Meeks is now “America’s Next Drag Superstar,” and joins past winners in the Drag Race Hall of Fame. She also took home a cash prize of $200,000.

Miley Cyrus was presented with the Lifetime award. Accepting the award, Cyrus joked “This makes the Grammys look cheap.”
