Stunning’ necklace from Princess Kate-loved brand will arrive for Xmas

A heart necklace is proving very popular from the jeweller Monica Vinader – a brand which Princess Kate has previously worn. Its Heart Chain Necklace is £99 in 18k gold vermeil, while it costs £90 in sterling silver.

The delicate necklace features a heart-shaped pebble set on an adjustable chain. The gold version is made from recycled 18k solid gold (of at least 2.5 microns), layered on top of 925 sterling silver. 

The finish is five times thicker than average gold plating, and more durable, the brand says. Meanwhile the silver necklace is made from certified recycled 925 sterling silver which is made up of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals. 

The addition of other metals makes it far more durable than pure silver alone. Since being founded in 2008, Monica Vinader has gained a huge fanbase, with the Princess of Wales being seen in several of its pieces.
