These are the top White Stuff summer picks for every style

The weather may still be a little temperamental, but one thing’s for sure: summer is firmly on the horizon. And fashion fans will be pleased to hear that White Stuff has already unveiled its new-season collection.

The British retailer has launched a fresh wave of styles designed to see shoppers through the in-between months and beyond, from floaty dresses to lightweight knits perfect for layering. Better still, prices start from £7 for smaller items like socks, while standout pieces top out at £150, meaning there’s something to suit every budget.

It can be hard to know where to start but below, I’ve rounded up three of my favourite picks from the new drop. Keep scrolling to see them all.

Even in summer, a light layer is essential, and this cardi will make a cheerful addition to any wardrobe. The classic crew neck style is elevated with a coastal-inspired wavy stripe design, making it ideal for breezy beach days, seaside strolls, or simply throwing on when the temperature dips.

To style, wear it over a simple white tee with high-waisted jeans for an easy everyday look. Otherwise, layer it over a slip dress with sandals for a relaxed yet put-together outfit that works from day to evening.

Lightweight cardigans seem to be all the range right now, with M&S recently releasing its own cropped knitted top (£20). This one features a flattering cropped length, a classic collar and short sleeves, giving it a slightly more polished feel than an average summer knit.

A summer dress doesn’t always need to be bright and colourful. This one, with its muted print and navy finish, is ideal for those who want to embrace the season without going full-on bold.

Plus, the jersey fabric makes it super lightweight, temperature-regulating and comfortably stretchy. It’s also a hit with shoppers, racking up more than 2,100 five-star reviews.

This happer shopper shared: “I love this dress for the spring. So comfortable and fits just right. Had several compliments when wearing it.” And someone else said: “This is a lovely lightweight dress for the warmer months. Fits beautifully and good length.”

However, another noted: “The material is thinner than I expected it to be.”

Linen is a great choice for summer layering thanks to its breathable, airy feel, so this jacket is a smart buy. Available in four colours (including light beige and chambray blue), it’s an easy piece to throw over a plain T-shirt and trousers, or a floaty dress. It’s cut oversized too, for a relaxed, effortlessly cool look.

It’s had some great reviews, with one shopper saying: “I wasn’t sure if I would like this jacket, but I absolutely love it and wear it nearly every day. Would highly recommend for a comfortable casual look, daytime or evenings.”

For anyone else keen to lean into the linen trend, With Nothing Underneath has a great range to pick from, albeit more expensive. The brand’s classic boyfriend shirt (£130) comes in a wealth of colours, including our favourite, lapis blue, and has slightly dropped shoulders for a laid-back vibe.
