Vanessa Hudgens Shares Post-Birth Vibe After Welcoming Baby No. 2

Vanesa Hudgens is back at home and embracing a cozy postpartum vibe after welcoming baby No. 2.

“Home in pjs all day is the vibe,” Hudgens, 36, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, November 30 — one day after giving birth to her second baby with husband Cole Tucker.

The High School Musical star announced she was home from the hospital via a selfie showing her wearing print pajamas with her hair pulled back and fixed atop her head.

Hudgens welcomed her second baby with Tucker, 29, on Saturday, November 29.

“Well…. I did it. Had another baby!!!” Hudgens wrote via Instagram at the time, announcing the birth while sharing a photo featuring the actress in the hospital. “What a wild ride labor is. Big shout out to all the moms. It’s truly incredible what our bodies can do.

Hudgens later revealed she popped a blood vessel during delivery.

“Labor: Poppin out babies and blood vessels lol,” she captioned a second selfie shared via her Stories the same day, showing a broken blood vessel in her eye.

The actress announced her second pregnancy in July via Instagram, where she captioned photos of herself and Tucker showing off her baby bump. “Round two!!!!” she wrote.

The pair met in 2020 during a meditation session held via Zoom and began dating shortly thereafter. She was first photographed holding hands with the athlete in November 2020. Just before the pair went public, Hudgens got honest about what she was looking for in a partner.

“Your girl’s open. I feel like at the end of the day, it’s just about having similar fundamentals and wanting the same things,” the actress told Entertainment Tonight at the time. “I am not picky, really.”

Us Weekly confirmed in February 2023 that the couple were engaged.

Hudgens later revealed that she knew right away that Tucker was The One.

“After our first weekend together, I called my sister and was like, ‘I think I just found my future husband,’” she recalled on the Today show in April 2023 of meeting Tucker.

Back in June 2023, a source exclusively told Us that the pair were already thinking about having children.“They both want a family now and that’s what’s driving them toward getting married [soon],” the insider said at the time.

Hudgens announced her first pregnancy in March 2024.

“[Cole] treats her better than any guy she has been with. They are in a really good place,” an insider told Us. “With marriage and a baby, she is ready for the next phase of life.”

She and Tucker welcomed their first child in July 2024.

Back in 2022 Hudgens noted that she always believed she would get married while she was in her 20s, like her mother did, and that she was comfortable with waiting for a timeline that was right.

“I always thought I would be married at 25 because that’s when my mom got married, and then when that didn’t happen, I was like, ‘Oh, OK, so we’re just going to shift everything back a bit,’” she told Nylon at the time. “I always thought that around 36, 37 is when I would want to have kids, and that still plays. I don’t feel panicked about it.”
