Was His Favorite Food Pasta?

Nikki Glaser attained the impastable while hosting the Golden Globes: valuable information about a famously private actor.

On Jan. 11, the awards show brought Hollywood’s glitterati together to celebrate movies, television and, for the first time, podcasts.

Glaser used her monologue to playfully rib celebrities from The Rock to Nicole Kidman to Timothée Chalamet, before turning her focus to Leonardo DiCaprio.

“You’ve won three Golden Globes, an Oscar, and the most impressive thing is that you were able to accomplish all of that before your girlfriend turned 30,” Glaser joked.

“I’m sorry I made that joke. It’s cheap. You know what? I try not to but, like, we don’t know anything else about you, man, like there’s nothing, man,” Glaser said, adding that she searched high and low, but the “most in-depth interview” she could find was in Teen Beat magazine in 1991 — when the now-51-year-old actor was 17.

“Is your favorite food still ‘pasta, pasta and more pasta?’” she asked, and DiCaprio nodded to laughter from the crowd. “Look it up. That’s real.”

Well, the internet wasted no time in doing just that, and keyboard detectives dug up and posted the Q&A in full, on X, Threads and Reddit.

The questionnaire, seemingly filled out by the teenaged DiCaprio, reveals some illuminating facts about him, like his mother’s name, his dream car and how he used to play the organ.

Some of his favorites include singer Harry Connick Jr., Jack Nicholson, Meg Ryan and old “Twilight Zone” episodes. And, near the bottom, clear as day, his very favorite food is indeed listed as “pasta, pasta and more pasta.”

What kind of pasta he prefers is still a mystery, but he has been spotted eating spaghetti.

People online loved the blast-from-the-past fact sheet.

“Omg! I wonder if ‘Can’t touch this’ is still his favourite song?” one Threads user wrote.

“He like many of us during that time was also interested in Oceanography and would’ve liked being a Marine Biologist,” one user wrote, to whom another replied, “Hmmm. And this dream turned into a nightmare in Titanic.”

“pretty cool that he got to work with his favorite actor Jack Nicholson,” a Reddit user wrote, referring to the 2006 movie “The Departed.”
