Zendaya and Robert Pattinson are navigating a complicated love story in their upcoming movie The Drama.
Zendaya and Pattinson costar in the romantic drama as engaged couple Emma Harwood and Charlie Thompson, respectively. A24 released the first full trailer for the movie in February 2026, which featured Charlie and Emma in the days leading up to their wedding.
The trailer starts off with the duo taking a dance class, where Zendaya’s voice can be heard in the background, saying, “The wedding is this Saturday.”
The next clip sees Charlie debating what he’s going to say in “his speech,” deciding that he’s going to take a trip down memory lane and detail the couple’s major life milestones, while Emma panics about what she’ll say at the altar. “You don’t have to make a speech,” he tells her.
Elsewhere, Emma opens up about her feelings for Charlie to her friend (Alana Haim) in a cafe, gushing about how Charlie is her “first love.” When her friend asks, “First love or your first crush?” Emma replies, “Both. Why — is that insane?”
Leading up to the climax, Emma, Charlie and their friends decide to play a game and reveal the “worst thing” they’ve ever done. When it’s her turn, Emma stuns the table with her confession — which the audience doesn’t hear — leaving them speechless.
