What Time Does Vol. 2 of ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 Drop on Netflix?

“Stranger Things” fans have eagerly awaited a new batch of episodes from the Netflix sci-fi series’ fifth and final season, and they’re arriving on Dec. 25, Christmas Day.

After a grueling three-year wait, the hit show returned to Netflix on Nov. 26 when the first four episodes of Season 5 dropped. And what episodes they were!

That first Season 5 installment, which Netflix dubbed Vol. 1, saw the gang from Hawkins, Indiana, embarking on a terrifying journey back into the Upside Down. And, let’s just say all hell broke loose.

Now, the hit Netflix series, which was created by twin brothers Matt and Ross Duffer, is prepared to drop three more episodes dubbed Vol. 2.

A few key things to keep in mind from Episodes 1 to 4: during a blowout brawl against an army of Demogorgons, Will (Noah Schnapp) learned he can use his freaky connection to the evil Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) to harness Vecna’s power. A good thing since Vecna is on a mission to steal a dozen kids from Hawkins to complete his evil plan to dominate the world.

While in her coma, Max (Sadie Sink) has been a prisoner in Vecna’s mind. But she’s been hiding out in a cave that Vecna can’t enter. After Mike and Nancy’s younger sister, Holly (Nell Fisher) falls under Vecna’s spell, Max rescues her and takes her to the cave.

Also, Hawkins is under a military quarantine commandeered by scary military scientist Dr. Kay (Linda Hamilton), who’s hell bent on locating Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown).

What else? Hopper (David Harbour) escaped that Russian labor camp. Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) is grieving the death of his Dungeons & Dragons-playing pal Eddie Munson (Joseph Quinn). Nancy (Natalia Dyer), Steve (Joe Keery) and Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) are in a love triangle and Robin (Maya Hawke) has a girlfriend. Oh, and Hawkins moms Joyce (Winona Ryder) and Karen Byers (Cara Buono) are total badasses!
