When Are the 2026 Actor Awards? How to Watch, Start Time and More

Hollywood’s awards season continues full steam ahead this weekend with the Actor Awards.

The Actor Awards may sound new, but that’s because they used to be known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards since they were first handed out in 1995. This year marks the first year the show, which will feature an A-list roster of celebrity presenters, is broadcast under its new moniker.

This year, “One Battle After Another” topped the field with seven nominations on the movie side, while “Sinners” pulled up next, with five. “Hamnet,” “Marty Supreme” and “Frankenstein” all had three nominations. “The Studio,” meanwhile, led the way among TV nominees, scoring five nominations, ahead of “Adolescence” and “The White Lotus,” which garnered four each.

We may not know the winners yet, but we do know that Harrison Ford will be presented with the Life Achievement Award, the highest for the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA).

When Are the Actor Awards?

The ceremony takes place live on March 1 at 8 p.m. ET. The Actor’s Red Carpet, which is the official preshow, will stream at 7 p.m. ET on Netflix, with Paige DeSorbo and Scott Evans hosting.

Where Can I Watch the Actors Awards?

The show will stream live on Netflix.

Who Will Host the Actor Awards?

Kristen Bell, who stars in and producers the hit Netflix series “Nobody Wants This” — which also netted her an Actor Award nomination last year — will serve as host for the third time.
