White Stuff £59 spring jeans praised for ‘supportive fit around tummy’

With spring around the corner, many shoppers are looking for a wardrobe refresh. White Stuff has a variety of clothing options on offer, but one pair of jeans is catching shoppers’ eyes thanks to their flattering fit.

The Tia Cropped Wide Leg Jean is currently available from White Stuff for £59. The jeans come in several colours – natural white, mid denim, khaki green (£35), dark natural (£38), dark denim and pure black – in sizes six to 24.

Shoppers can choose from regular, long or short lengths, and White Stuff describes the product as its ‘widest leg jeans yet’. They are mid-rise, fitted at the waist and cropped, and they’ve got deep pocket detailing at the front, making them ‘flattering across the tummy’, according to the listing.

The pockets are slanted at the back, too, and the jeans are made from 79% organic cotton, 20% recycled cotton and 1% Elastane. Plus, they’re easy to care for as they’re machine washable.

As an alternative, shoppers could buy these Pink Stripe Lightweight Denim Patch Pocket Cropped Jeans from Next for £38. These come in three other colours, sizes six to 24, regular and long lengths, and they have a non-stretch fabric to give a ‘structured silhouette’.

Or at M&S, there are these High Waisted Wide Leg Cropped Jeans for £33, which come in four colours, sizes six to 24, and short/petite, regular and long lengths. They have been designed with a flattering high-waist and wide legs for a relaxed feel.

Back to the Tia Cropped Wide Leg Jean, shoppers have left an average overall rating of 4.5 out of five, from more than 500 reviews. One person said: “Comfortable, smart and perfect for spring. Lovely supportive fit around the tummy area, which is a bonus.”

A second person said: “Lovely, heavy weight fabric jeans. So flattering, have tried many ankle length wide leg jeans, these are the only ones I’ve kept. Great quality.”

While a third wrote: “Great quality and fit, looking forward to wearing them on holiday.” Others left some feedback for the jeans, with someone else saying: “They fit well, although I think the fabric creases easily. Otherwise, I would have given five stars.”

Another person said: “I liked these jeans, but unfortunately they didn’t suit me. Being only 5ft tall, the legs were a tad too wide. So disappointed as I loved the colour – pale blue.”
