Instagram sensations Valeria and Camila have amassed a huge following on social media, presenting themselves as conjoined twins enjoying a glamorous, influencer-style life.
Their feed is filled with bikini photos, fashionable fun-filled outings with friends and casual Q&As that mirror the content of countless creators online. They have responded to inquiries about their relationships, dynamic and more — drawing in some followers who believe they’re watching two sisters navigating life in a shared body.
But as their popularity grew, so did skepticism surrounding their authenticity, leaving many looking for the real story behind the viral conjoined twins.
Us Weekly is breaking down everything to know about Valeria and Camila:
Valeria and Camila claim to be 25 years old and go by she/her/they/them pronouns, according to their Instagram bio, which states they are based in Miami. Camila has a curlier hairstyle, while Valeria has straight hair. They have nearly 300,000 followers as of January 2026.
In their Q&A highlights, they claim to be “born this way” and 5-feet-10 inches tall. When asked about their biology, the response was, “We each control either the left or right side respectively.”
As for their style, Valeria and Camila’s page states they get clothes that are “tailor made.”
“We both date as one and both have to be physically and emotionally attracted to the same guy. We tried dating separately and that did not go well,” according to another Q&A slide. “It’s more difficult to date as one since we don’t ALWAYS agree but, we make it work sometimes.”
They also responded to questions about the scar on their back seen in some photos on their grid, writing, “Our spines were dangerously conjoined so we’ve had a few surgeries and operations throughout our life after birth, and so we have our beauty scar.”
Valeria and Camila claimed they earn one salary and work as accountants.
“We move, we talk, we are obviously not AI,” Camila said in one video.
Vice is one of several publications and news outlets that have covered the viral twins and debunked their claims of being real, explaining in a report on February 2, 2026, “What separates Valeria and Camila from other AI influencers is the lack of disclosure. Plenty of virtual models announce themselves clearly, leaning into the novelty of it all.”
A digital forensics expert also discussed Valeria and Camila’s Instagram account in an interview with NewsNation.
“So really, the top three things that we look for is frame-to-frame changes, especially things for videos,” digital forensics expert Jake Green shared on February 4, 2026. “As that frame moves to the next, we see lots of different changes throughout the scene, throughout the lighting.”
Green said, “So I think that’s really at the end of the day … it’s about … the financial gain of the person who’s in control, whether it’s a real person or it’s some IT guy sitting in the closet.”
