They Met in Middle School

The couple have been linked since middle school, according to a TikTok throwback Ann Michael Maye posted in 2024.

The couple celebrated their nine-year anniversary in 2024.

Both Attended the University of North Carolina

After high school, Drake Maye went on to play football at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill starting in 2021.

Ann Michael Maye also went to UNC, studying business administration with an entrepreneurship and conflict management double minor, according to her LinkedIn.

She was also the vice president of finance at her sorority, Kappa Delta. She also completed two strategy internships.

The Couple Married in 2025

Drake Maye got down on one knee with an ocean view and announced their engagement on Instagram on January 15, 2025.

“Love doing life with you. Can’t wait to marry you!” he wrote in a caption.

The couple exchanged vows later that year on June 21, according to Ann Michael Maye’s Instagram. The next day, they shared photos from the wedding on Instagram.

Ann Michael Maye played sports in high school, including softball and basketball.

The 22-year-old has a large social media presence. She shares cooking and day-in-the-life content with over 500,000 followers on TikTok.

Leading up to Christmas of last year, she baked something different for 25 days as part of a challenge called Bakemas.

In early 2026, she debuted her NBC Sports Boston baking show, “Beyond Bakemas.” So far, she’s been joined by guests like Bartsool’s Dave Portnoy, former Patriot star David Andrews, and content creator Emma Pritchard.

In Episode 2, she disclosed which hungry football players have been especially appreciative of her baking skills.

“The O-line is the main recipient of my baked goods,” she said.
