On Wednesday evening, Pedri was forced off with an injury against Slavia Prague (2-4) in the Champions League. The FC Barcelona midfielder is suffering from a thigh issue. This is far from reassuring for FC Barcelona coach Hansi Flick, who is bracing himself to be without his key midfielder for several weeks.
“I don’t know how he is yet, he has a hamstring problem and he’ll have to undergo tests. These things happen. I don’t know exactly how many weeks he’ll be out. This is not good news,” the German coach said after the match.
