Harry Styles, Marcello Hernandez Appear in ‘SNL’ Promo

“Are those my clothes?” the musician asks, ahead of his double-duty shift as host and performer
Days after he crashed Ryan Gosling’s opening monologue, Harry Styles has returned to Saturday Night Live. Only now, he finds Marcello Hernández onstage, impersonating him.
In a new promo, Hernández is seen wearing the exact Chanel pinstripe suit Styles rocked at the 2026 BRIT Awards last month, dancing to the Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally. single “American Girls.” He’s preparing to belt into the mic when Styles and Kenan Thompson approach him. “Are those my clothes?” Styles asks Hernández.
The SNL star explains that since Styles was late, he decided to be his understudy. “I’m 15 minutes late ’cause Kenan and I went out for pain au chocolat,” Styles says, holding up the chocolate croissant. “It’s a tradition when I host.”
On Saturday, Styles won’t just host — he’ll also be the musical guest, marking his second time working double duty on the sketch show since 2019. The performance follows Harry Styles. One Night in Manchester, his live show that featured the debut of Kiss All the Time material (the concert is now streaming on Netflix). In May, he’ll kick off his highly-anticipated Together, Together world tour in Amsterdam, a 67-date trek across seven major cities.
Ahead of the release of Kiss All the Time, Styles appeared on the cover of Runner’s World, in conversation with Japanese novelist Haruki Murakami. “The thing that I’ve found, in the rest of my life but particularly in running, is the idea of trusting myself to do exactly what I say I’m going to do,” he said. “To say to myself, ‘I know that you can do something difficult, and that you can get up and train when you don’t want to train, and that you’re able to push through hard things.’ Having that kind of self-integrity — no one can run a marathon for you. Whereas there are a lot of people who help me make music, put the music out, put on a show, and make me look good at it! But running is a conversation with myself.”
