Harry Styles Ticketmaster Request for MSG Scalped Tickets: Here’s What to Do

Ticketmaster says it has dealt a blow to scalpers looking to mark up tickets for Harry Styles’ upcoming “Together, Together” residency in New York City and is selling them back to fans for as low as $50 per show.
The ticketing giant announced an update on X on April 22 in which it said it has taken action against scalpers who scooped up tickets to Styles’ 30-date residency at Madison Square Garden that will run from Aug. 26 to Halloween in support of his latest album, “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.”
Ticketmaster shared that it will be releasing the tickets it recovered from the scalpers back to fans at their original low prices.
Here’s what to know and how to request tickets.
What Happened With Ticketmaster and Scalpers?
Ticketmaster President Saumil Mehta released a statement on X on April 22 saying the company “caught scalpers using multiple accounts and fake identities to get around ticket limits and resell tickets for profit.”
Mehta said the company has “canceled” those tickets, none of which were resold to fans, and is now working with Styles’ tour to “release them back to fans at the original price.”
He said Styles’ residency at Madison Square Garden was “a huge target” by scalpers looking to buy the lowest-priced tickets so they can make the biggest margin possible in reselling them.
Mehta said 19% of the tickets to those shows are $50, 77% are under $95 and 100% of them are under $130, according to the original prices set by the tour.
How Do You Know If Your Tickets Were Affected?
Anyone who has purchased their tickets to the residency directly from Ticketmaster or received resale or transferred tickets in their Ticketmaster account is not affected, according to Mehta’s statement.
This also does not apply to any tickets to Styles’ tour dates outside of the New York City residency dates. His tour spans from May to December and will also hit major cities around the world like Amsterdam, Sydney, Mexico City, London and São Paulo.
Who Can Request the Originally Priced Tickets Being Released by Ticketmaster?
Anyone can request the tickets at their original low prices that were recovered from the scalpers, but a request does not guarantee that you will get them, Ticketmaster said.
Priority will also be given to people who don’t already have tickets to any of the New York City shows.
When Can Fans Request Tickets?
The window for requesting tickets will be between April 30 at 12 p.m. ET and May 1 at 5 p.m. ET, according to Ticketmaster.
How Can Fans Request the Tickets?
In order to submit a request, fans need to go to the Harry Styles page on Ticketmaster during the designated window of time, and the links to the request will be at the top of the page.
You need to submit your credit or debit card details with your request. If you get the tickets, your credit or debit card will then be charged.
Fans can request a maximum of four tickets for five different shows. The most tickets a fan could receive from a request are eight total tickets for two different shows, which is essentially four tickets each for two different nights.
If your request gets accepted, the tickets will all be for one specific price per show, not different prices for each ticket. Tickets from each request will be seated together.
What Happens After You Submit a Request?
You will get an email confirming that you made the request, according to Ticketmaster.
If you get confirmed to receive tickets, you will receive an email with your seat details and the next steps by May 8 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Your credit or debit card will also be charged.
If your request is not accepted, you won’t get a second email and your credit or debit card won’t be charged.
