Queen Camilla steals the show in striking red outfit at Trooping | Royal | News
Queen Camilla turned heads today as she sported a bright red and black ensemble for the King’s 2025 official Birthday Parade. The Queen headed down to central London, alongside other members of the Royal Family for the annual event.
She looked elegant in a red silk crepe grenadier guards uniform dress by Fiona Clare. Camilla paired the look with a black Philip Treacy beret with a white plume and a Grenadier Guards cap badge. She also sported the Grenadier Guards’ brooch on her chest.
Camilla sported the Grenadier Guards’ colours today, as it is the regiment that is being trooped.
It is the most senior infantry regiment in the British Army.
They were raised in Belgium in 1656 as bodyguards to Prince Charles (later King Charles II), who was in exile.
Ten years later, the regiment became known as the 1st Regiment of Foot Guards.
Since its formation, the regiment has won 78 Battle Honours and 14 Victoria Crosses.
